Your own chats, as a linked device
WhatsApp lets agents read, search and send messages on your own number. It links the way WhatsApp Web does, as a linked device with a pairing code, so it needs no business account, no Meta app and no API key. Builders Bot starts wazap, a community MCP server that is not made by WhatsApp or Builders Bot. The account, its history and the media it keeps stay on this computer, in the wazap data folder. Pairing is a one-time step: the agent shows an 8-character code and you type it in WhatsApp › Settings › Linked devices › Link a device › Link with phone number instead. Agents can send, edit and delete messages and change groups, and a draft is only sent after you approve it. What the tools read, such as message text, goes to the model provider of the agent.
How to connect WhatsApp to Builders Bot
Open WhatsApp in Builders Bot
Press Open in Builders Bot on this page, or find WhatsApp in the app's Apps tab. Get the app first if it is not on this computer.
Give an agent a task
Builders Bot asks for no sign-in or key for WhatsApp. Ask an agent for work that needs WhatsApp, such as one of the example prompts below. The agent uses the plugin's tools to do it.
Example prompts3
WhatsAppWhat did I miss on WhatsApp today?
WhatsAppFind the invoice Ana sent last week and open the file.
WhatsAppTell Ana I'll be twenty minutes late.
